The association was born in 2004 and it is formed by a group of young people motivated by the desire to enhance and to make usable the cultural, artistic and landscape heritage of the Valle d'itria. The group is composed of qualified personnel in the historical and tourist field, with graduates in Cultural Heritage, Languages, Forestry and Informatics. They believe that experienced personnel always guarantees the perfect response to the all requests. Sylva Tour and Didactics operates in Puglia, in the area of south - eastern Murgia and, in particular, in Alberobello, UNESCO site and strategic centre of the Apulian between the Ionian and Adriatic sea.

Our team

Luca De Felice

President of the association; he is graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage. He is the certificated guide of the Puglia. Director and artistic curator of events and theatrical performances.

Roberta Manfredi

She’s graduated in Management of Cultural Heritage at the University of Macerata. She is a certificated guide of the Puglia and is in charge of coordination of events and guided tours in English.

Maria Antonietta Salamida

She’s graduated in the Sciences of Cultural Heritage at the University of Lecce. She is the authorized guide of the Puglia. She’s in charge of educational organization and event communication.

"IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE BRIGANDS"

Teatro a pedali is an innovative idea that combines the passion for cycling with theater. This is how the "In the footsteps of the brigands" tour was born, which leaves from the center of Alberobello to visit the important places linked to the brigands’ events. The tour also includes the extra-urban area to visit the farms linked to the post-unitary phenomenon.

"THE TRAIL OF WATER"

Teatro a pedali is an innovative idea that combines the passion for cycling with theater. This is how the "The trail of water" tour was born, which leaves from the center of Alberobello to visit the extra-urban area that has links with water. From Largo Martellotta, known as "Largo delle fogge", the tour will develop along a stretch of the Apulian aqueduct and then admire the "fogge di traversa", the fountains, examples of the past.

TOUR GUIDE

The “Sylva” group deals with the study of the territory and environment of South-Eastern Murgia. The Study center is finalized to the ideation of cultural character paths (Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Matera) and/or environmental (park of Barsento).

SCHOOL

The Sylva team was born in 2004 and it’s specialized in the course of its activity, in the proposals reserved to school groups of all grades, offering varied proposals with a language suitable for users. In fact in the traditional package with guided tour, are proposed workshops of drawing, cooking and theater performances that will contribute to make the experience unique and formative.
